Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find them Movie Release Date, Reveals, Rumors, Plot, Teasers, Reviews and Updates
When we closed the cover of the last Harry Potter movie and the credits had rolled on the last movie, J.K Rowling had left no doubt in our mind that we had seen the very last of Harry. Just like the end of Friends we were happy for them but we were happy, unlike Friends J.K Rowling has found a way for us to see them again; or rather go back to Hogwarts. The book was published in 2001 six years before the Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows was released and got a mention in Harry Potter and the Philosopher's stone.
The book is actually a text book it is in fact Harry's copy. The book is 'written' by Newt Scamander. It is required reading at Hogwarts and features 75 magical creatures, most of which we have not yet encountered. The foreword is written by Albus Dumbledore himself and Newt Salamander explains that he studied most of these animals during his travels all over the world. Scamander attended Hogwarts in his early years with his love for magical creatures coming from his mother who was an avid Hippogriff breeder. When he graduated he joined the Ministry of Magic and worked in the Department for the Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures where he worked with elves, werewolves and dragons. Interesting fact; His grandson marries Luna Lovegood. The book itself has doodles and notes presumably added by Harry and his friends. In 2013 J.K Rowling announced the book would be the inspiration for a new film that was the beginning of a whole new trilogy. This new series will feature Newt Scamander and is set in New York 70 years before Harry meets the dark lord for the first time.
With a new protagonist and such a wide time difference it is with certainty that w announce Daniel Radcliffe shall not be coming back. J.K Rowling wrote the screenplay herself. The movie is set to be released on 18th November of 2016.
