"Agents of SHIELD" Season 2 Spoilers: Melinda May Would be in Focus This Season
Marvel's "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Season 2 will be returning on ABC TV network on 23rd Sept. 2014. From tonight Marvel fans will be able to enjoy the second installment of the hit series which will be premiered at 9p.m. returns on ABC on Sept. 23 at 9 p.m. So fans can expect the following things to happen in season 2.
Clark Gregg has been elected the new Director of "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." season 2. So fans might have to deal with several changes, but according to the new organizers, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. won't miss the roots of season 1.
At the end of first season leading character Fitz played by Iain De Caestecker was badly suffered from brain cell damage, which led him to a coma. Fitz might not be able to recover fully with cognitive functions. So relationship with Simmons might stall until Fitz recovers.
Regarding season 2, ABC network has promoted a trailer of the series. From the series fans get to see that double agent Ward is behind the cell of S.H.I.E.L.D. Last season Ward helped Hydra to take down the S.H.I.E.L.D. So S.H.I.E.L.D will be able to send him to the custody. But in an interview of Seat42F, Brett Dalton told that he might not be a hero but he is not a villain as well. So no need to hate the character because he might be antihero, nothing else.
The story behind the mysterious agent Melinda May will be the focus in this season. Last season she was seen to move towards Bahrain for a mission. She will earn a nickname "The Cavalry" from the Bahrain mission.
This season, Skye will be able to identify her father. From last season, fans saw Raina giving Skye's photo to her father but his face wasn't shown. Kyle MacLaughlan will be playing the role of father of Skye, which was reported by Entertainment Weekly. Kyle MacLaughlan will appear as The Doctor in season 2 episode 2.
Fans are going to be happy with some new characters in this new season. Hayley Atwell will be starring as a guest star for the role of Agent Peggy Carter. More guest stars are going to have their appearances in this season as well. Stars like Lucy Laelrss, Kyle MacLachlan, Adrianne Palicki and Brian Patrick are going to experience their debut in this season.
