Nexus 9 by HTC Release Date, Specs, Rumors, Price, HTC Reports And Latest Updates: High Chances Of HTC Manufacturing The Nexus 9 As HTC Engineers Have Been Spotted Visiting The Google Headquarters
We have the latest for you on the release date, specs, rumors, price, HTC reports and latest updates of the Nexus 9. The big search engine company Google is the owner of the Nexus brand but it uses different companies to make this tablet. Over the years since the release of the Nexus one back in 2010 which HTC was tasked with to build and develop, many tech companies have had a chance to make the Nexus which include LG, Samsung and Motorola. Its predecessor that is the Google Nexus 8 was developed by Motorola. Rumors have surfaced that the upcoming Nexus 9 will be a product of HTC.
According to reports, HTC have only made one Nexus tablet and that is the Google Nexus one which was back in the year 2010. Wall Street Journal published a report claiming that Google chose HTC to make the next gen Nexus tablet and even the HTC engineers have been spotted visiting the Google headquarters which are in Googleplex.
This is very exciting news because unlike other rival companies dominating the Android Market and World, tech companies such as Samsung, Sony, LG and Nokia, HTC currently does not sell tablets. In fact its last tablet was in 2011 the times of Honeycomb, which was Google's Android operating system version that Google specifically designed for tablets. Too bad the operating system was short-lived.
HTC has designed the HTC Flyer, one of the earliest 7-inch tablets but contrary to beliefs the Flyer and even The HTC Jetstream did not make it far in the Android market. With Google's diversity in recruiting tech companies to build the Nexus device it is no surprise that this time HTC have been chosen. Nexus 7 which was a 7-innch tablet was built be Asus, the 10-inch Nexus 10 was manufactured by Samsung while when it comes to the Nexus smartphones LG and Samsung have been used to build them, but it is good to note that it was at HTC that the first Nexus was made. According to rumors , the Nexus 9 which has been given the code name 'Volantis' could be the platform that HTC could use to make a big return to the large mobile device market.
The Nexus 9 is said to be released in mid-October and may run on the New Android system from Google that is Android L.
