According to our very reliable source, the episode is entitled 'Partners' and is about a certain field assignment that have gone wrong and which may lead to the death of one of the show's characters. Which one of the Blue Bloods Season 5 cast will it be? We are really hoping it's not Daniel Reagan (played by Donnie Wahlberg) or Frank Reagan (played by Tom Selleck). We cannot afford losing any of the two.

In the premiere episode, Detective Maria Baez and Danny will be assigned to escort some confiscated drugs that needs to be destroyed. During their mission, Baez will be critically wounded and Danny will go after the man responsible that is possibly a member of a drug cartel. Meanwhile, Frank would be getting involved in a controversy with a lieutenant at the New York Police Department.
