iPhone 6 Plus Review: The Good, The Bad and The Ugly
Since Apple released two of its most revolutionary devices two weeks back, people are looking for all bits of information on them. Whether it is the price with and without contract or just the simple specifications that justify upgrading their smartphones. iPhone 6 Plus in paricular, with its 5.5 inch display, garnered the most attention and questions.
Given that the highest 128 GB variants for iPhone 6 Plus sells at $949.99, fans are not taking any chances of getting one without knowing all there is to be known from the phone: the good, the bad, and even the ugly. Here is a summary of what makes iPhone a hit and what makes it a miss.
The Good
It is big. It is big on screen size, battery, pixels, resolution and camera quality. Running on iOS 8 with 1.38GHz Apple A8 processor and 64-bit function, it is also one of the fastest devices built on the planet. The 1 GB RAM further ensures that it works flawlessly with multitasking and other operations. Moreover, it's from Apple, the company that makes sure it delivers innovative and high-quality products.
The Bad
It seems that one of its most distinct functions make it weird too. Big screen size automatically reflects on a big keyboard which makes handling and typing problematic. Not everyone will enjoy carrying it around and typing with one hand. You almost need both hands free for better handling and performance. But then, people who bought this understand what they are getting into.
The Ugly
Believe it or not, the design is not so great that you will be willing to spend around $1000 on a phone. Similar phones like Samsung Galaxy Note Series, and LG G3 are available for around half of the price with expandable storage and even more unique features. With the iPhone 6 Plus, the storage is limited to what Apple provides.
