Star Trek 3 2016 News, Plot, Trailer, Release Date, Rumors, Cast And Spoilers:If You Thought Star Trek Into The Darkness Was The Last In The Franchise Think Again As The Movie Has Hit Its Trilogy Mark
We have the latest for you on the news, plot, trailer, release date, rumors, cast and spoilers of Star Trek 3. The journey through the galaxy with our favorite ship Captain Spock (Zachary Quinton) is yet again among our midst. If you thought Star Trek into the darkness was the last in the franchise think again as the movie has hit its Trilogy mark. Zachary Quinton revealed to the media that we expect the shooting of the new Star Trek movie to begin in 6 months to come. The iconic Spock character in the franchise revealed this news while on NBC's Today Show where he assured Star Trek fans that thing were going on as planned.
"I think it's on the horizon, things are rumbling, so I have a feeling that we will be in production sometime in the next six months," Zachary told NBC. It will be a disappointment for fans as the new Star Trek movie to go under production without J.J. Abrams. Abrams will miss out in this new add to the Star Trek trilogy as he currently has his hands full with the production of Star Wars: Episode VII which is ongoing. Roberto Orci will be Abrams replacement; Orci had co-writing credits on the first two movies. Orci will join up with Alex Kurtzman to co-write The Amazing Spider-man 3 which is also set to be released in 2016 together with Jeff Pinker, which means the superhero blockbuster will reunite the scribe trio responsible for this year's second installment of The Amazing Spider-Man 2.
Filming is estimated to start in the next six months is very possible seeing as how Roberto Orci confirmed in the middle of last month that a first Draft of the script is complete. According to his own words, Orci intends to make this new add to the franchise, Star Trek 3 be the closest in similarities to the original TV series.
Star Trek 3 is estimated to hit the big screens in 2016. Paramount hopes to have the movie in that year as it will coincide with the 50th anniversary of the late Gene Roddenberry's sci-fi TV show which formed the basis of which Star Trek movie is made from.
