The upcoming movie is set a few years after where the previous Avatar movie ended. Rumor has it that the James Cameron vehicle will have three parts, while in other news sources reveal that Dr. Grace Augustine the role which is to be played by Sigourney Weaver will be very much present in the upcoming Avatar sequel.

The upcoming Avatar is set to feature mainly on Pandora's oceanic ecosystem. Filming is set to commence in December. "I want people to feel that same sense of excitement about that world, you know the fictional Na'vi people and I want them to feel that excitement of discovery of a new world that they're going to see things that they haven't imagined," Cameron told IFC entertainment.

 The main cast of the upcoming Avatar 2 will include; Sam Washington, Zoe Saldana, Joel David Moore, and Sigourney Weaver. Sam Washington, who plays Jake Sully in the Avatar movie, is set to appear in all parts of the franchise. He plays the role of a human turned-Na'vi in Avatar. Sam has played major roles in big films in Hollywood which include; Clash of the Titans, Man on a Ledge and Sabotage.
