Supernatural Season 10: Everything We Know so Far about the New Season of Supernatural, Spoilers, News and Episode guide
CW's Supernatural is renewed for a tenth season, and is ready to premiere this October 7. More spoilers and details of the upcoming season are released, and here is everything we know so far.
The official plot for the new season is described as "Season 10 begins with Sam's frantic search for his missing brother, who is gone without a trace. The road to recovering the wayward Dean takes Sam down dark paths, with consequences that will shake the boys to their core. Meanwhile, Castiel has to pick up the pieces in the aftermath of Metatron's campaign. With his grace failing and rogue angels still on the loose, Cass will face the ticking dock of his own mortality as all-new threats emerge to once again push all of our heroes to their limits".
It is also said that whatever Dean was at the end of season 9, a transformed demon, will continue in the upcoming new season, and a new character will find interest in the "new Dean".
The premiere episode of season 10 will be one of the show's most meta comedies yet, and will serve as a sort of a love letter to the fans, as the show commemorates its 200th episode in the new season's first episode.
The show's executive producers Jeremy Carver and Robert Singer shared a few details on the upcoming new season 10 of Supernatural. They hinted that Dean, though dark at first, will learn to be a hero again. They also hinted that Crowley has a plan for Dean. They added that a new hunter is on the loose: Cole, who is ready to kill Dean. Castiel, on the other hand, will be spending a lot of time with angel Hannah, who is starting to become more attached to him.
Executive producer Robert Singer concluded by saying, "It's a landmark season, but we're going about our business basically the way we go about it every season: just tell the best stories we can. So we've got a good beginning to the season. As far as the last half, we'll have to figure that out".
Supernatural season 10 premieres Tuesday, October 7 at 9PM on CW.
