The seventeenth of September marked the first anniversary of GTA V for the online gaming community. With this in mind and of Rockstar's announcement that game servers, including Social Club will be down for maintenance on September 18-19, fans are speculating that this might be to make way for the GTA V Online Heist release.

Many of the fans think that Rockstar will be devoting the time to clean up leaderboards for the highly anticipated GTA V Online Heist release date that is rumored to be on the 23rd of September, this year.

According to some GTA V Online Heist news we found online, there is a high possibility for the game to be bundled with the 1.17 patch which is a great improvement and update for those with the next-gen and older version console. Rockstar had even released a trailer earlier this year for a high definition port for Playstation 4, Xbox One, and the PC gaming console. This lead to fans believing that GTA V Online Heist will be released at the same time as the port.
