Pirates of the Caribbean Dead Men Tell No Tales Release Date: Another Pirate Adventure, Captain Sparrow Will Be Back
The fifth instalment of the blockbuster Disney franchise that follows the adventures of Captain Jack Sparrow is set to begin its filming after the reported tax incentive approval worth $20.2 by the Australian government.
Australian Federal Arts Minister George Brandissaid in a statement that the Australian is very pleased to reach an agreement with Disney's to hasten the production of "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales." The budget was originally allotted for the remake of "20,000 Leagues Under the Sea," but was later on postponed because of the sudden departure of director David Fincher.
The setting of the "Pirates of the Caribbean 5" production is reportedly in Queensland and the Gold Coast.
The instalment appears to be more customary and be a straightforward pirate movie as producer Jerry Bruckheimer said that there will no more demonic monsters included here. Johnny Depp will still play Captain Jack Sparrow and Geoffrey Rush as Captain Hector Barbossa. Christoph Waltz is said to play this story's main antagonist.
Alongside Depp, Rush, and Kiera Knightley, Orlando Bloom may also make a comeback. Bloom's character as Will Turner came into the limelight back in 2003 when the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise was first launched with "The Curse of the Black Pearl," but unfortunately, his presence ended in 2007 after "At World's End," the movie's second sequel.
Bloom stated in an interview that he had been negotiating with the producers of the film with regards to his comeback. He even recalled the amazing experience he had while working with Depp and in being a part of the first slate of "Pirates of the Caribbean."
"Dead Men Tell No Tales," which will be directed by Joachim Ronning and Espen Sandberg, is slated to be shown on 7 July, 2017, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
