Latest Bugs on iOS 8, Read Before You Update!
The iOS 8 is currently available for download on iPod, iPad and iPhone. However, a Yahoo Tech report cautions you to be aware of certain caveats before downloading Apple's newest mobile operating system.
iOS 8 Update Warning
The same report said the iOS 8 is at least 1 GB but the download will require a lot of Gigabytes space for it to be successfully installed. Depending on your device, the amount of space required can be anywhere between six to seven GB.
Take note that the space will only be needed during the update. After the iOS 8 has been successfully installed, the space is freed up.
If you want to update your device to the iOS 8, be prepared for a long download and update.Be patient while installing because it would really eat a lot of your time. Yahoo Tech warned that the installation process can take at least 30 minutes or longer, and during the iOS 8 installation, you will be unable to use your mobile device.
Possibly, you might also be unsuccessful due to traffic. To avoid this, better wait for a few more days before downloading the iOS 8.
One iOS download tip is to update your device via iTunes through your Mac or PC.
The iOS 8 may not be recommended for older Apple mobile devices. Officially, the iOS 8 should work on iPad 2 or iPhone 4s but in reality, the older your phone the slower is the response of the iOS 8. It would be better to just stick to the older but much faster OS for your mobile device.
Decline if iOS 8 offers you to upgrade to the new iCloud Drive. If you do accept to upgrade, you will not be able to access the iCloud Drive files in your Mac.
