Brooklyn Nine-Nine Season 2 Premiere Date, Spoilers: Will Amy and Jake End Up Together?
Brooklyn Nine-Nine is excited to announce its comeback for 2nd season this September 28, which will be aired on Fox at 8:30 p.m. Patton Oswalt and Craig Robinson may appear and come back in the premiere show. The season 2 premiere of "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" is about Jake working covertly, taking down the mob. Jenny Slate will be playing as Bianca, who is a tough and rough mob mistress who helps Jake in serving justice to the mob. According to the reports, the new series will not be based from the previous story, instead it will jump ahead. Amy and Jake's romance will not be as prominent as of the moment since the focus goes to Gina and Charles. According to Mike Schur, the executive producer, "There is a time jump. It does not pick up right where we left off."
Where the Last Season Ended?
On the previous season, the show has ended with Jake fired from the precinct so that he will undercover for FBI. Furthermore, he revealed to Amy towards his feelings for her. As aforementioned, Jake and Amy's romance will not catch the scene as it was. For those viewers who left with huge wander about the romance between Charles and Gina, the writers noted that their relationship will come into play in this premiere and for the following seasons.
As for cast news, Joel McKinnon Miller and Dirk Blocker, who play Hitchcock and Scully respectively, they have been promoted as series regulars. Therefore, the viewers may expect to see full screen time on these actors. The executive producer Dan Goor believes that these two actors will go well with many stories. The 2 favorite guest stars Patton Oswalt and Craig Robinson may return to the show. Though no specific date yet, but Schur stated that it is always a possibility. Sedgwick will also star in two episodes and will play as Deputy Chief Madeline Wuntch, who is the long-time opponent of Captain Holt.
