Samsung Mega 2 Release Date, Specifications, Price and other News: Retailers are now Taking Pre-orders

Samsung Mega 2 2014 release date is among the most anticipated this year as the smartphone users' community can't hardly wait to get their hands on the unit. As a matter of fact, Samsung Mega 2 pre-orders are already stacking up even before it actually hits the market. So what is it that makes this device so anticipated and how does it differ from another one of Samsung's mobile innovation, the Samsung Galaxy Mini 2?

Based on the official Samsung Mega 2 specs report, the device will have a 720X1280 Super AMOLED display, a 1.4 GHz quad-core Exynos 4415 processor and a 1.56GB of RAM all in one packaging. If that is not awesome enough, it will also include a 2800mAh battery with a built-in storage of 16GB and 4G connectivity. It will also be running on Android's processor Kitkat 4.4.4. As for the camera, there are reports stating that the Thailand model will have an 8MP camera on its rear while the Chinese model had listed that it will have a 13MP version. It will also have the capability to take full-HD videos. Aside from that, the device will also have the faux leather backing similar to the Samsung Galaxy Note 3.

As for Samsung Galaxy Mega 2 price, it is estimated to be around 300-400 Euros and will be released some time this month in time for the FIFA 2014 event. You may note that it is relatively cheaper than other newly released Samsung mobile phones such as Note 3 since Samsung's target is really to make the device affordable.
