'Amazing Race' Season 25 Spoilers: Contestants Toughen Up to Bag $1 Million Price
All arrangements are over for a healthy and exciting fight to win the $1 million price on Amazing Race Season 25.
There will be laughing and resting during the race with a price of $1 million dangled infront of the participating teams but winning it will not be as easy as you think. The game will be tougher each stage. As the "race" in the title implies, the contestants will get the chance to go around the world but it will be possible only if they qualify each round.
CBS also announced the details of the 11 teams who will compete in the show. A key attraction is Bethany Hamilton, she is known as the "Soul Surfer." Hamilton is a professional surfer and a hand amputee. She lost her hand from a shark attack while surfing in 2003. Bethany Hamilton is competing alongside her husband Adam Dirks. Other teams include Whitney Duncan and Keith Tollefson who are engaged and TNA Wrestling stars Brooke Adams and Robbie E.
This season, expect many twists. For instance, the participants who finish first in the premiere episode will be granted "The Save". This reward will save them from elimination but if they come in last, they may go to the danger zone. This is a first in Amazing Race's 25-season history.
The Amazing Race Season 25 starts in Times Square in New York City. The teams will journey through 20 cities covering more than 26,000 miles. For the first time, the racing teams are going to St. Thomas, Virgin Islands. There, they have to face tough challenges like sky diving. From there, they have to go to Valletta, Malta to abseil 200 feet to the Blue Grotto sea cave. Finally, they will go to the Shetland Islands, Scotland. Indeed, the race will be tougher than ever and thus, promises to be more exciting than the previous races.
