After 28 years of ignoring Christian music, The American Music Awards started giving an award to a Christian band/artist in the Favorite Artist Contemporary Inspirational category. The nominees for 2013 are Chris Tomlin, Matthew West and tobyMac. Fans can vote online and the winners will be announced live on Sunday, November 24 at 8|7c on ABC.
