'Hunger Games 3: Mockingjay Part - 1' Trailer Released
"Hunger Games 3: Mockingjay Part - 1" Trailer Released
It has been reported that the "Hunger Games: Mockingjay," will be split into two movies. This follows the footsteps of movies like "Harry Potter" and the "Twilight" series, wherein movie goers are treated to a better development of the story because it was not squeezed into a two-hour show.
What better way to end this series than to split the final into two films to provide better narrative and emphasis on the story. Movie goers do not seem to mind having to wait for the second part of the movie so long as they are satisfied with it.
The first part of this series which will be entitled "Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1" will hit the theaters in Nov. 21, about a year after "Hunger Game: Catching Fire." The second part will be released about a year later.
Jennifer Lawrence returns to her iconic role Katnis Everdeen, who will now be the leader of the rebellion. The story now will be more focused on the rebellion rather than the games.
The first trailer for the movie "Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1" was released last Monday, Sept. 15. From the trailer, it can be concluded that the upcoming movie will be action packed coupled with unbelievable twists in the plot. It begins with Katnis talking to the all-powerful President Snow, played by Donald Sutherland. It also showed Peeta, who was separated from Katnis at the end of "Catching Fire," denouncing the rebellion. It appears he was being manipulated. The trailer ends with Katnis and Gale shooting down an enemy aircraft.
Julianne Moore and the late Philip Seymour Hoffman complete the cast of characters that include Liam Hemsworth, Elizabeth Banks, and Woody Harrelson.
