The fourth season of the American fantasy drama, Once Upon a Time, is slated to be premiered on September 28, 2014 on ABC.
The new season of this series set in the fictional town of Storybrooke in Maine, U.S., will focus on a power struggle between Regina/Evil Queen (Lana Parrilla) and a new visitor to the town, Queen Elsa of Arendelle (Georgine Haig).
The third season finale had indicated that Queen Elsa would make an appearance in the series when it resumes.
The fourth season will be aired in two parts, news reports say. The first half would be aired during 2014 and the second half during 2015.
There are indications that actors David Anders and Rose McIver may do limited roles in the fourth season of Once Upon a Time. Both these actors have landed roles in another drama series.

Micheal Socha, who acted in Once Upon a Time in Wonderland, will be a regular in the new upcoming series donning his role as Will Scarlet/Knave of Hearts.
Charactors Anna and Kristoff, played by Elizabeth Lail and Scott Micheal Foster, will also be making an appearance in the opening episode of season 4.
Once Upon a Time first premiered on ABC in October 2011. It is written by Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz.
