iOS 8 Release Date for iPhone 5 and iPhone 4: Latest Updates

iOS 8 Release Date for iPhone 5 and iPhone 4: Latest Updates
When it comes to Apple products, the waiting time is usually difficult. Apple often teases fans with feature updates and then it is all about the release date. After the launch of a new phone, people eagerly wait for operating system (OS) updates. While there is no doubt that iOS8 is loaded with unseen features, the big question is whether it can function on existing phones like 4 and 5.
According to Apple, iOS 8 should be ready for update by September 17 on current phones. However, in contrast to what many users think, this OS does not suit all phones due to Bluetooth 2.0 and battery issues.
iOS 8 Compatible Devices
Apple's website states that compatible phones for iOS8 include iPhone 4S, 5, 5C, 5S, 6, and 6 Plus. This means that only 4 of the existing phones will be updated with the new OS. Other devices that are compatible with the new OS are iPad 2, 3rd Generation, 4th Generation, Air, Mini, and Retina along with iPod Touch 5th Generation. Of course, Apple still has to announce the release date for its new iPod 6th Generation.
The Performance
Users are more worried about the iOS performance on iPhone 4S. After reports of battery drain and other glitches, it is difficult to conclude anything right now. However, it is clear that it will be the last operation system update for the phone. Apparently, users will have to jump to iPhone 5 or 6 before iOS 9.
