Winds of Winter Release Date: Could the Delay Will Affect the HBO Series Game of Thrones?
According to the IBTimes, D.B. Weiss and David Benioff, producers of hit HBO Series "Game of Thrones," may be running out of official materials to continue the great adventures of Hodor played by Kristian Nairn and Bran played by Isaac Hempstead-Wright. This is why the release date for Winds of Winter continues to experience great delays. In connection to this, the publication admitted that the delays on 'The Winds of Winter' book itself written by George R.R. Martin could also affect the HBO show.
Many fans are waiting for the release of 'The Winds of Winter' as Martin's forthcoming novel. This is also the final installment of R.R. Martin's fantasy series entitled 'A Song of Ice and Fire.' There are reports about Martin's several reasons behind the delays.
Recently, Digital Spy got the chance to interview Martin. Asked how Martin was faring with writing the 'The Winds of Winter," the author shared some insightful points.
"I don't know, I have days where I make lots of progress, I have days where I make next to no progress, I have days where I think I'm going backwards because I don't like what I wrote yesterday."
"I'm just writing it and when it's done, it'll be done," he also added. Because of this, there are speculation when will the 'The Winds of Winter' might be available, maybe "between 2015 and 2017."
Meanwhile, Live Journal creator revealed about Martin's favorite character.
"Tyrion is my favorite character."
"Okay? OKAY? Can we PLEASE put that one to rest?? I love all my viewpoint characters, Arya and Sansa and Bran, Jon Snow and Brienne, Arianne and Cersei and Jaime, Theon, even Victarion and the Damphair, ALL of them, but I love Tyrion the bestest. Tyrion son of Tywin, the Imp, second son of Casterly Rock," Martin said.
Fans of the book and the show have no choice but to wait. The wait will certainly be worth people's while anyway.
