Top Gun 2' Date Release: The 1986 Original Top Gun Movie, Tom Criuse, Reckoned As Amongst The Hollywood's Biggest Actors

Top Gun, a highly successful 1986 American drama and action film directed by Tony Scott and produced by Don Simpson and Bruckheimer is set to comeback on the big screen.  A sequel of the infamous movie of Tom Cruise is a top priority of its producer, Jerry Bruckheimer and the actor himself. Despite the sudden death of the director, Tony Scott in 2012, nothing has spoiled the decision of the producer to pursue with the comeback of the "Top Gun."

The follow-up of the movie has been pending for 30 years but the whole production and casts are all looking forward on its Top Gun 2' Date Release.  The sequel of the movie where Tom Cruise plays as Pete "Maverick" Mitchell will focus on the modern aerial warfare.  Although the final date of its release is not yet confirmed, the lighter side of the story is that the "Jungle Book" writer, Justin Marks continues the work where Peter Craig left off.

The sequel highlights Tom Cruise as "Maverick", a top pilot who will show the good side of being an old fashioned pilot in the contemporary, drone-centric world.  The character of Tom displays the edge of being a pilot in the middle of modernization. 

Although there is no specific Top Gun 2' Date Release, Paramount and Skydance productions are all ready for the part 2 of the movie. Chad Oman from Bruckheimer's film, and David Ellison and Dana Goldberg of Skydance will step on board to co-produce.

It is said that credit is also given to the late director's vision that has been carried over to the whole casts. The unaltered vision of Scott has kept the production as well as the casts and crews going.  Bruckheimer also disclosed that writer Christopher McQuarrie is no longer part of the movie for the preparation of Tom Cruise's another action film, Mission Impossible.

The 1986 original Top Gun movie has beset a gross of over $356 on its worldwide screening that lead to Tom Cruise's full stardom. From then on, he is reckoned as amongst the Hollywood's biggest actors. Previously announced in 2012 that the film will be out, it was put on hold with the untimely death of the director in Los Angeles that year. Jerry Bruckheimer still hasn't revealed Top Gun 2' Date Release.
