WWE 2K15 Latest News: CM Punk's Legal Dispute Could Lead to Removal From WWE 2K15
There is a possibility that CM Punk may be removed from the roster of the upcoming WWE 2K15 game according to a GameSpot report.
Reason for Possible Removal
In January this year, CM Punk left the WWE while he was still under contract. Currently he is now embroiled in certain legal disputes with his former company. Although the dispute is about legal matters, no specifics were mentioned. What can only be confirmed is CM Punk's removal from the WWE 2K15 roster if the legal matters can't be resolved.
No Lawsuit is Underway
GameSpot believes that despite the legal issues between CM Punk and the WWE, the possibility of lawsuit is very unlikely.
In the official website of WWE2K15, CM Punk is still included in the WWE 2K15 cast or roster. Currently 2K Games is still using CM Punk and John Cena's rivalry to promote the game. 2K Games is the publisher of the soon to be release WWE2K15 video game.
According to reports, despite its best efforts, no one from 2K Games or WWE would issue an official comment regarding on this matter.
