Blackberry Q20: Blackberry Classic Release Date Most Likely by November 2014, CEO John Chen Brings Back Blackberry's Best Features
Blackberry Q20 or BlackBerry Classic is due to launch anytime this November, and it appears much bigger and squarer than the previous BlackBerry series. It also brings back the physical navigation keys and trackpad of its old predecessors. The prototype images of the BlackBerry Classic are already spreading in the world wide web. The Canadian smartphone manufacturer isn't backing out on the smartphone marathon just yet.
CEO John Chen already confirmed the product in a June event. He says the BlackBerry 20 takes back the 'belt', just above the QWERTY keyboard, since users were looking for this feature in the Q10. The new BlackBerry also has a 3.5 inch screen with 1,440 x 1,440 pixels screen resolution and a 582 ppi pixel density. It also has a dual-core processor at 1.5 GHz with a 2GB RAM. It will now support NFC and 4G LTE. The better news is that the new BlackBerry will be priced at an entry level. BlackBerry Classic is leaning towards the business use appeal.
Based on the prototype images, the new BlackBerry appears to have stereo speakers and external nano-SIM or microSD card slots. It is also said that Q20 has better color reproduction than the previous Q10, and that the new Blackberry is using the 10.3 OS update, which is supposedly an unreleased OS. It also seems thinner than the 9900 we know. The keyboard also seems easier to use, offering a better typing experience.
Blackberry Q20 release date is likely on November 2014.
