Fans of Resident Evil 6 were a little disappointed upon the announcement that the film premiere will be pushed back from its original timeline due to lead actress Milla Jovovich's pregnancy. This Resident Evil 6 movie entitled 'Final Chapter' have been rumored to probably be the last of the franchise, bringing the story to a close. More than a year ago, director Paul W.S. Anderson has announced the making of the film and had us set to wait until 2015, but now there will be an additional nine months or so longer.

The Resident Evil 6 gameplay have become a worldwide sensation, thus pressure is quite high for this video-game turned movie franchise. The big question is whether it will bring the video game franchise due justice once turned into a complete storyline. We are hoping that they will.

The Resident Evil 6 movie release date may have been delayed but fans can still enjoy playing the game for the meantime and for those having quite a hard time with the game, there are many available Resident Evil 6 walkthroughs over the Internet. There are even online forums to exchange tactics with fellow players from all over the globe. This can be a good distraction while waiting for the Resident Evil 6 movie release.

As for the movie, it was supposed to be filmed in Johannesburg and Cape Town in South Africa last July and Jovovich was almost ready to board the plane when she found out the news about her being pregnant. As such, for everyone's interest, the production have to be moved so as to give justice to the movie-killing game and give Jovovich and husband some family time.
