'Chasing Life' ABC's Drama Series Will Again Capture Hearts, Read its Latest News and Updates
Chasing Life is an American Drama television series based on Televisa's Mexican television series called Terminales by Miguel Angel Fox, which aired in the Spanish Language.
Thirteen Episodes of the drama series were originally ordered by ABC Family television network, but later added 8 more episodes, one of them will be aired as an upcoming Christmas TV special, according to a source, totaling 21 episodes for now.
It is being produced by ABC Family Original Productions alongside Lionsgate Television and Televisa International.
Starring actress Italia Ricci who portrays a reporter named April Carver, working for a fictional newspaper called "The Boston Post". In the drama show, she finds out she has cancer, and tells about it to her best friend named Beth Kingston portrayed by the actress Aisha Dee.
Mary Page Keller portrays April's mother named in the series as Sara Carver. She is a therapist and also the mother of another character named Brenna Carver who is April's rebellious teenage sister. Brenna is being portrayed by Haley Ramm.
Dominic Russo is a character also reporting for the Boston Post portrayed by Richard Brancatisano. He is April's love interest in the show.
The show earned several awards such as the Teen Choice Award in 2014 for Choice TV Breakout Show, among others.
Currently, the last episode aired was on August 12, 2014 titled Finding Chemo, where April begins her chemotherapy treatment, while finding difficult to cope with the new situation, Dominic stands by her side to support her.
The upcoming episode is called Locks of Love which will air this December 2014!
