Heroes: Reborn Teasers, Reveals, News and Plot Review: Trailer for NBC's Sequel Series has been Released
'Save The Cheerleader, save the World' came to be one of the most iconic statements of 2006 thanks to the award winning series Heroes. Well the series must have made NBC a lot of money because they have authorized the production of a 13 episode season. A teaser trailer for this new season was released during the Winter Olympics broadcast setting the internet on fire. NBC is yet to release an official airing date but rumor has it that it will be early 2015.
The new series follows new heroes that will be introduced to the fans in a new digital series. The digital series in addition to introducing the new heroes shall show us how these new heroes fit in the overall scheme of things. The production house is keeping mum about what we are to expect and what new superpowers may be coming to our screens but judging from the numerous abilities people have had in series that popped up since Heroes was cancelled there isn't a lot left to choose from.
NBC has kept all news about the production under wraps giving very little away which could mean one of two things: either they have no idea what direction they are taking as at now and its all still in the air or it is so good they just want to shock our senses with it. The creator from the original series Tim Kring is staying with his baby. As for the cast there is still no information. There is however, speculation that some of the original cast may be making cameos or full on come backs. The series which according to its fans ended quite prematurely is coming back to a cult following with writer Cullen Bunn reportedly writing a comic book that picks up where season 4 left off called Heroes: Season Five. 2015 is really going to be the year of the hero and the fans aren't complaining.
