Frozen 2 Rumors: Elsa and Anna are back to celebrate Anna's Birthday - Will it be a Feature film or a Short film?

Yes you heard it right, Elsa, Anna, Olaf and the rest of the gang will be back by Spring of 2015 for a Disney Mini Film!

Sources states that it will not be a feature film though, instead it will just a be a short film. I know! I know! Well a lot of you might be disappointed, but it is better than nothing!

Despite the movie gaining box office momentum of almost $800 million at the box office last year, becoming the 5th highest grossing movie of all time, the Producers have "no plans" on a feature film sequel yet. But don't lose hope, who knows what Disney is thinking right now. We will just stick to Frozen 2 short film as of the moment.

Frozen 2 is titled Frozen Fever which will reunite the characters of our beloved Disney movie. The synopsis of the film is "It's Anna's birthday and Elsa and Kristoff are determined to give her the best celebration ever, but Elsa's icy powers may put more than just the party at risk."

And who wouldn't forget the song "Let it Go"? Well it became a huge success! Academy Award winners, husband and wife tandem songwriters Robert Lopez and Kristen Anderson-Lopez, will showcase new songs again with this short film! Isn't that amazing? The world will witness another "Let it Go" fever!

In the meantime, a sing-a-long DVD is set to be released this November. So let's kind of chill out for the moment.

Frozen 2 release date has not been confirmed, but reports say that this will be shown in cinemas prior to Kenneth Branagh's live action Cinderella remake next March.
