Nick Jonas 2014 Tour Dates and Solo Album Release Announced, See Here
Nick Jonas has official announced that his new debut solo album will be releasing on November 11 from Island Records. The former Jonas Brothers member has also unveiled his 11-date club tour starting September 22 in Seattle, Washington. You can check out the picture above to see the cities selected.
Jonas spoke with Ryan Seacrest about his new single "Jealous", which followed up his first single "Chains", which will be available on September 8th.
"I was out with my girlfriend the night before I wrote this song ... and I got heated," he told On Air With Ryan Seacrest. "I was doing all this fighting training for this show I just finished up [DirecTV's Kingdom], so I was ready to go. [But] I contained myself ... and I came in the next day to the studio and wrote this song. I think it is true ... a lot of people can relate with this, a lot of men, they don't talk about it, it makes them uncomfortable. But I think vulnerability is good and it's what makes us human."
Nick Tweeted: @nickjonas "Public on-sale is Mon. sept 8th. Still some pre-order +VIP pre-sale available too http://nickjonas.com #nickontour"
Tickets to see Nick on his club tour are now available exclusively through his webpage NickJonas.com.
"It's definitely a progression for me," Nick told MTV News speaking on his new album. "I really wanted to push myself, work with some people that would help me grow and, you know, I kind of came to a place where I said, look, I've already had a full career at the age of 21-years-old and I get to start over and this is really cool and really approach it as a new artist."
"That's what I grew up on and that's what feels natural when I open my mouth to sing and so having a pop alternative music bed with the soul vocal, I feel like really works," he explained. "I think this is definitely more of a mature sound as it relates to Jonas Brothers music and Nick Jonas & the Administration."
