Doctor Who Season 8 Release Date: Who's Back? Alerting all of you, Who's Back On Track

Finally, the much awaited sci-fi series is back for more, airing its first episode on the 23rd of August, 2014. The bbc america hit series is ready to get the show on the road with Peter Capaldi, known for "the thick of it" and some other hit bbc series. He'll be going for the role of the twelfth incarnation of the time-travelling doctor replacing Matt Smith, the 11th. The show is kicking off with its pilot episode "deep breath" which will engulf its fans with more shrouded mystery. Doctor who is known for its unpredictable plot and exciting twists, I mean, a doctor who turns out to be an alien traveller with unbelievable intelligence? Oh believe it, the whole gig wouldn't last seasons if it's not worth the airing time.

The 8th season is expeted to run wild with 12 addictive eppisodes and the currently on its 3rd. BBC announced that the episode be launched on the 3rd on its regular time slot. Things to expect? Well it's better if well sit tight and find out ourselves, right? Doctor who has been around since the early 60's and thank the Almighty for those producers with taste, revived way back 2005. With a powerful cast and all new genuine plot, I'm pretty sure Doctor Who would be part of your watch list to infinty and beyond!

My take on the show? I'm never really a fan of neutron bombs and bug-eyed monsters from another dimension but here's what I can tell you, after countless sleepless nights of research that finally lead me to watching season 1, I can say that the show is worth the TV time to squeeze during your busy day and I admit that Doctor Who spiced up my imagination to the point of embarking on quest to find the "key of time" and having a cold beer with "The Master".
