Kingdom Hearts 3 Release Date: Years Of Waiting For The Release, Now It Is Official Kingdom Hearts 3 Not Forgotten and to be Released on 2015
10 years ago, Kingdom Hearts 2 was released and fans liked it. However, despite having no update for the last ten years, Square Enix, maker of the game, has recently given the fans some update, In 2013, they have released a re-mastered version of Kingdom Hearts 1- the Kingdom Hearts 1.5 for PS3. Along with this came an announcement that Kingdom Hearts 2 will have a sequel and will be released soon after.
Tai Yasue, the co-director of the game, has mentioned in his recent interviews that they have been working on not one, but two Kingdom Hearts sequel- the Kingdom Hearts 2.5 and Kingdom Hearts 3. Both games wish to give the gamers the chance to get to know and explore the Kingdom Hearts universe. Yasue has said that his team has had some hard time during the process in making the game and has even thought of focusing all the teams' effort on making the third sequel but he changed his mind. He added that the Kingdom Hearts 2.5 will help the players to know the universe more and get to understand the back story of the game.
In the recent Electronic Entertainment Expo, fans of the game expected to see a teaser of the new games that they have announced but unfortunately, they were sadly disappointed. Regarding this, Yasue said that making a teaser of the game was not really a priority during that time. Making a teaser take a lot time and manpower and they want to focus on the game instead.
Despite the ten year gap between the Kingdom Hearts 2 and 3, Yasue insisted that they have not forgotten the game franchise and they really intended to make sequel. Kingdom Hearts 2.5 and Kingdom Hearts 3 will be released on December 2014 and in 2015 respectively.
