'Madagascar 4': Safari Adventure Continues As its 4^th Sequel will be in Theaters, Find Out its Release Date and other Spoilers

The Madagascar franchise has been pretty successful in terms of putting in cash, so when DreamWorks Animation recently released a list of movies to be released for 2017 to 2018, it was no surprise that Madagascar was included in that said list. The list also includes The Croods 2, Captain Underpants and Puss in Boots 2: nine Lives and 40 Theives.

The Madagascar franchise has raked in a total of more than $1.8 billion worldwide. The first movie earning $500 million, the second movie earning $600 million and the most recent one, was a whooping $750 million. The fourth one may be a charm and it may get past the billion mark, who knows?

If you are a fan of the Madagascar franchise, you might also be interested to know that a spinoff of the movie is actually showing this year. Remember those semi-villainous penguins in the franchise? Yes, they are getting a movie of their own. The title is The Penguins of Madagascar, very fitting, right? Anyways, the story is going to be like a prequel and it will tell the story of the gang and how they came to be. It sounds pretty exciting and if you ask me, it's the perfect movie to watch while waiting for the Madagascar 4.

2018 is a year to watch out for because there are a lot of great movies that will be shown. Most of them are probably sequels but they are great none the less. So mark your calendar now because Madagascar will be back on the big screen by May 18, 2018. Chris Rock, Ben Stiller, Jada Pinkett Smith and Clark Duke will make you laugh out loud in their adventures.
