Star Wars 7 resumes filming after Han Solo accident with more stars added to the cast roster but no movie trailer in sight
Now that Harrison Ford's broken leg has recovered, the Star Wars 7 film is back in track.
If you've been hiding under a rock for some time some of the new faces that are confirmed as part of the Star Wars 7 cast are Gwendoline Christie, Lupita Nyong'o, Max von Sydow, Oscar Isaac, Andy Serkis, John Boyega, Daisy Ridley and Adam Driver. The newest addition to the Star Wars 7 cast is Game of Throne's very own Miltos Yerolemou. Yerolemou has been credited as Arya Stark's sword teacher in the hit show based on George R.R Martin's books. Joining him is British actress, Christina Chong.
The Star Wars 7 cast don't just feature new faces by also boasts to haul back in old and familiar faces from the first trilogy such as Carrie Fisher (Princess Leia), Mark Hamill (Luke Skywalker), Anthony Daniels, Peter, Mayhew, Kenny Baker and, of course, Harrison Ford (Hans Solo).
The movie is written by J.J. Abrams and Lawrence Kasdan and is being directed by J.J. Abrams himself. The Star Wars 7 plot will be set 30 years after Return of the Jedi but that's all that we know about the upcoming film's plot. The Star Wars 7 cast, the ones who attended the Venice Film Festival, can't even give us any spoilers! Apparently, the ones behind the iconic sci-fi movie series have been going to incredible lengths just to prevent spoilers from leaking out, though we do know that they have been trying to recreate several of the iconic places such as Tatooine by shooting in places such as Abu Dhabi's deserts instead of going full blown on the green screen.
As filming is still ongoing, there has been no sign of a Star Wars 7 movie trailer yet.
Star Wars 7 release date has been set for a December 2015 released according to Disney and Lucasfilm.
