The Christian Today reported that the Samsung's Galaxy S6 release date may occur in April 2015. The Samsung Galaxy S6 rumor seems to have some basis since the last Galaxy S model also came out in April this year. It is also expected that the Samsung Galaxy S6 is going to be presented during next year's trade show of the Mobile World Congress.

Samsung Galaxy S6 Rumor: Upgraded Specs

Samsung is said to be worried that the market demand for the Galaxy S series is starting to slow down. Which is why the Galaxy S6 will be loaded with specs and features that Samsung expects will make the buyers interested again.

Samsung Galaxy S6 Specifications and Features

The report has yet to be verified, but the S6 screen will probably be larger which can be 5.2 to 5.3 inches. The screen resolution is nearly 4,000 pixels to give the user more realistic images. Instead of the usual plastic casing, this time the Galaxy S6 will be in a metal encasement.

The hardware in the Galaxy S6 includes a Snapdragon chipset from Qualcomm. The chipset is either of the 808 or 810 series and has 64-bit architecture. The Adreno 430 GPU and 4GB of RAM will make sure that the video and images in the Galaxy S6 will run smoothly. The camera will probably be at least a 20 MP.

Android OS and Retail Price

The Samsung Galaxy S6 is expected to have the Android 5.0 L as its operating system. No price has been mentioned yet, but it seems that its retail price will probably be the same as the last Galaxy S model.
