‘The Voice' Season 7: Taylor Swift Will Be Guest Mentor
Taylor Swift fans are definitely excited for this news, and probably could not contain the excitement anymore about their favorite country princess being a guest mentor for the upcoming season of the hit singing competition "The Voice USA." The country singer who recently turned pop with her recent single "Shake It Off" and her upcoming album "1989" is set to join season 7 of the show. It was initially reported by Us Weekly, although no official statement yet from The Voice or Swift's reps.
With her new album and another hit single with Shake It Off, Taylor Swift is officially back in the pop world, and what's more better than joining the biggest singing competition on television. Fans and viewers will get to see her for the first time advising contestants of the show. We wonder what advises would she give to the contestants? Will she probably take out something from her recent and first pop album? Well find that out soon when season 7 premieres.
Swift will be having the same role as Coldplay's Chris Martin last season, in which she will be assisting all contestants from all four teams. Swift will also be joined by other superstars as guest advisors: Alicia Keys (Team Pharrell Williams- filling in for Cee Lo Green), Bush's Gavin Rossdale (Team Gwen Stefani- filling in for Christina Aguilera), Little Big Town (Team Blake Shelton), and Stevie Nicks (Team Adam Levine).
The Voice Season 7 premieres on Sept. 22/ 8pm on NBC.
