Sprint Moto X Android 4.4.4 Update: US Carrier Sprint Has Started Rolling Out The Android 4.4.4 OS Updates For Its Moto X Devices
We have the latest for you on the Android 4.4.4 update for Sprint Moto X. The US carrier Sprint has started rolling out the Android 4.4.4 OS updates for its Moto X devices this week. The new version Operating System update number for Moto X is 212.44.28.en.US.Verizon wireless has already started rolling out the update, and was quickly followed by AT&T.
As the Moto X update goes on, some Android-based devices are already enjoying the fixes brought about by the Android 4.4.4 KitKat OS. It is claimed that the update will bring fixes to security issues like the OpenSSL bug. The update page which flashes on the devices reads, "The software update will upgrade your Nexus 5 to 4.4.4, which improves performance, security, stability and fixes bugs."
The Android 4.4.4 KitKat is a very important update as compared to the previous Android 4.4.3 KitKat. The former brings the overall version of KTU84P firmware. This latest update did not bring major changes to the device. The changes include slight change to Chromium Web browser and WebView. If you have been waiting for the OS update and you wish to install it in your phone, go to the settings of the Android-based smartphone and see if your handset is ready to receive the Android 4.4.4 KitKat OS. If you have not yet received the update, you do not need to worry as the roll out of the update does not happen at once. Some of the users may actually receive the notification after a few days.
The Android 4.4.4 KitKat OS update requires a 285MB of free space. When installing the software to your phone, make sure that your phone has enough battery power and also a strong internet connection. Meanwhile, the Android L OS is set to roll out in the fall alongside a new device from Google. On the other hand, the Moto X successor is set for release on 4th September and will have upgraded features, including the latest Android 4.4.4 KitKat OS. Later in the year, the device might be upgraded to the soon-to-come Android 5.0 L OS. You can count on us for more information on the Operating System upgrade.
