Vampire Diaries Spoilers, Premiere And Trailer: Damon Salvatore Confirmed To Return For Season 6 Of The Vampire Diaries As Elena Becomes A Love Interest For A vampire Hunter
We have the latest news for you on spoilers, premiere and trailer of the Vampire Diaries season 6. Ian Somerhalder, an actor, hinted that his popular character Damon Salvatore will be returning to the 6th season of CW's Vampire Diaries. The actor uploaded a photo to his Instagram which hinted the return of Damon in the upcoming season. The photo showed Damon with fangs and blood and had a caption saying "He's back! #DamonSalvator."
There have been rumors saying that Damon died in the last episode of the last season, which is evidently untrue. In the last episode of season 5 of the series, the fans shed tears during the "Death scene" of Damon and Bonnie Bennet. The whereabouts of the two are still unknown. What happened will be revealed when the 6th season of Vampire Diaries will be released. However, Elena Gilbert, a role played by Nina Dobrev, will move on from Damon's death in the new season. In a promotional teaser that was shown, Elena was deeply saddened by Damon's death, and Stefan, a role played by Paul Wesley, instructed her to say good bye to his brother.
It is reported that in the next season, Elena will work as an intern at the Whitmore Medical center. She will also be a love interest for vampire hunter, Alaric Saltzman. It is said that she will at first grieve the loss of her lover. During the San Diego Comic-Con, the panel confirmed that Elena and Stefan will not rekindle their old relationship. Stefan will also not be involved in a relationship as he too grieves the loss of his brother. The executive producer, Caroline Dries, recently addressed the criticism about the situation between Damon and Elena.
She talked to EW and said, "I've been getting all these hate messages like 'you think you can do a season without Delena? You're crazy" the fans have nothing to worry about. We know what we're doing. Nobody's going to abandon any love triangle. Everything will be fine. There will be plenty of Delena goodness for people." The 6th season of the series is expected to premiere on CW on the 2nd of October at 8 p.m. You can count on us for any more updates about Vampire Diaries season 6.
