Sony Xperia Z1 Review, Features and Specs: Camera Comes Available with Customized Sony Creation App

The Latest version of the Sony Xperia Z1 is what you would call a more ostentatious version compared to the Z version. It has better features and is bigger than the previous model with a harder metal casing for the sake of better protection, though it seems that the design structure of the two are still a bit similar. As such, the device comes available with a 5 inch screen that has a HD 1920 x 1080 resolution. As for the processor, the Z1 model comes available with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 quad-core 2.2GHz Krait 400 option which is more powerful than the Z option.

What's more the Sony Xperia Z1 camera comes available with a 20.7 megapixel camera sensor which is quite high even for a Smartphone, venturing into the professional field so to speak. The Sony Xperia Z1 is not only water proof and dust proof, but the Micro SIM,USB and micro SD ports are concealed with the use of tight rubber stoppers. This time the start button is located to the side of the device rather than the top of the device which is common with Smartphones.

The device comes available with an aluminum casing with rounded edges that contribute to a gentle and colder feeling. As such, the front and the rear of the phone seem to be made out of glass and the sides of phone are made out of hard plastic. The sides of the phone reach over the glass by about a millimeter which is a design attribute in order to make it a shock absorber of sorts. The application that is on offer with the camera sensor is the customized Sony Creation whereby the user interface has been simplified for easy navigation. The default setting at the time when one opens the camera app is the Superior Auto Mode. This is a setting that can provide you with some flash options including the redeye reduction, fill and auto.
