'Sons of Anarchy' Season 7 FX Release Date 2014, Spoilers, Cast News: 'Glee' Star Lea Michele Role Being Extended For Multiple Episodes
"Glee" star Lea Michele is one of the latest cast additions to be added to the "Sons of Anarchy" Season 7. The 27-year-old actress was seen filming scenes for the hit FX series and she was playing a waitress alongside Katey Sagal.
She will be in the sixth episode that will air on October 14th. However, Michele impressed the team so much that she might get more air time in multiple episodes. "We love her," show director Paris Barclay told E! News. "We're trying to find a way to bring her back."
Michele will play a "an empathetic truck-stop waitress and single mother, who connects with Gemma (Katey Sagal) during a difficult time." As of right now, she is only scheduled to be in one episode in the upcoming final season.
"Such an honor getting to work with the amazing @KateySagal today at @SonsofAnarchy #Gemma #SOAFX," Lea tweeted.
FX announced that the premiere for the final season of "Sons of Anarchy" will premiere on Tuesday night, September 9th, at 10/9c.
"Sons of Anarchy" Season 7 keeps the new castings coming. We already know that Marilyn Manson and Courtney Love will be making appearances in the upcoming final season and now we learn that Malcolm Jamal-Warner ("The Cosby Show") will be joining the cast as well for at least two episodes.
FX also announced that they will launch a live aftershow for the fans following the premiere. They are calling it "Anarchy Afterword" and is a first for the network. The live aftershow will air twice this season, after the premiere and after the series finale. "Sons of Anarchy" is following the aftershow trend of AMC's "Talking Bad (Breaking Bad)" and "Talking Dead (The Walking Dead)", A&E's "After Hours (Bates Motel)" and MTV's "Wolf Watch (Teen Wolf)". Fans will be able to submit questions through a toll-free number and on social media.
Season 6 left of with Jax Teller solidifying his leadership by murdering Clay Morrow but Gemma murdering his wife, Dr. Tara Knowles. Juice Ortiz kills Sheriff Eli Roosevelt to protect Gemma.
Season 7 will begin 10 days later with Jax in jail on a parole violation, grappling with the loss of the woman he loved. With the club's support, he sets in motion the brutal machinations that will lead to complete and merciless retribution.
"Sons of Anarchy" is a motorcycle drama from creator Kurt Sutter starring Charlie Hunnam, Katey Sagal, Theo Rossi, Jimmy Smits, Drea de Matteo, Peter Weller, Niko Nicotera, David LaBrava, Mark Boone Jr., Kim Coates and Tommy Flanagan.
