Annabelle Movie News, Trailer, Release Date, and Updates New Official Trailer released 

Annabelle is the upcoming prequel to the horror hit 2013 movie The Conjuring.

The first teaser trailer was released back in July, and now a new main trailer has been finally released.

Annabelle is about a couple expecting their first child. In light of the event, John Form bought his wife a rare and vintage doll dressed in a white wedding dress. One night however, their house was attacked by members of a satanic cult. Blood is spilled that night and the cultist left the doll named Annabelle corrupted by a powerful and evil entity.

The doll made a brief appearance in The Conjuring in which fans have openly expressed interest and curiosity to the doll which eventually led to the development of the film by James Wan and Peter Safran.

Development began on the film after the success of The Conjuring back in November of 2013. Warner Bros. Pictures will distribute the film and New Line Cinema will serve as the production company for the new movie. James Wan, who is widely known to horror fans as one of the creators of the Saw franchise and also the director for the Conjuring, takes a backseat for the film as a producer while John R. Leonetti directed the movie.

Annabelle will star Annabelle Wallis, Ward Horton, Alfre Woodard, Eric Ladin, Brian Howe, and Tony Amendola. It has been speculated that actors Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga will return to briefly reprise their roles as paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren from The Conjuring. A sequel to The Conjuring is also in the works and is scheduled to be released on October 23, 2015.

Annabelle is scheduled to be released on October 3, 2014.
