Resident Evil 6 Release Date Plus Other Interesting Update About the Film: Release Date Gets Delayed at Last Minute Due to Milla Jovovich Pregnancy

The much-awaited sixth installment, and probably the last of the Resident Evil franchise have been experiencing several bumps as its release date keeps on getting a push back. Earlier this summer, Paul W.S. Anderson had told the public that Resident Evil 6 won't be making the September 2014 release date due to problems with writing the second draft of the script. Fans thought that at least it might be out by 2015 but with Milla Jovovich pregnancy announcement, we will have to wait much longer.

Milla had posted on her facebook page that on the day she was going to go fly out to Cape Town and begin shooting the movie, she and her husband have received the greatest news married couple could ever hope for. She is going to have a baby. Hence, according to her, for the best interest of everybody, they will have to wait until the baby is born before trying to tackle on the Resident Evil Sixth Movie.

We are very happy for her but a little disappointed since the crew have already been preparing the set at the time of the news. It seems that almost everything have been set up already. Milla thanked everyone though for their effort and said that she promise to see them all next summer.

What other updates do we have? The entire movie will be filmed entirely in 3D and aside from Milla reprising her role, Li BingBing will also be back to play her role as Ada Wong. There is also a high chance of us seeing old characters in the next movie.

In conclusion, the Resident Evil 6 release date will probably come out later in 2016.
