Windows 9 Release Date Update: Expected in September 2014, Microsoft To Announce In A Press Event
Windows 9 Release Date could be possibly in September 2014 as per the reports. As pe the sources, Microsoft is planning to conduct a press event in which they will be launching the new Windows 9 Beta. It is said that windows may release it to developers or may just show a preview in this event.
The new Windows 9 is said to have a new Start Menu which was absent in Windows 8 and some enhancements to UI. It should also feature voice assistant Cortana. Microsoft is said to be following footsteps of Apple in this wing, adapting to integration of voice control in the OS. Some screenshots were also unveiled to show the revamped Windows version 9.
Microsoft is tapping in every possibility of making Windows 9 a best user experience by enhancing all this is possible to them. They are working on a theory that allows multiple desktops on a single computer. Microsoft may remove the Charms bar in the upcoming series. Microsoft is continuing with its numbering format for its unified OS.
Rumors say Windows might release Windows 8.2 before Windows 9 by referring to an example of Windows 8.1 to Windows 8. Windows has given a codename Threshold to the new version. It is still not known whether Windows 9 will be available as an upgrade to Windows 8 and Windows 7.
The rumors are making rounds with all sorts of possibilities with its release, assuming release dates to as long as September 2015. Microsoft has however nothing confirmed officially anything about the Windows 9 release date.
