Real Housewives of New York City Season 7 Cast, Premiere, Latest News: Not True that the Show is Over, Filming Starts September

Bravo TV still has not confirmed until now when or whether there will be a Season 7 for The Real Housewives of New York City. However, a source close to the show reportedly told Rumor Fix that "It is not true that the show is over. There is already a Season Seven set up and we begin filming in September." Bustle expects The Real Housewives of New York City to be back between April and June 2015.

Despite Radar Online's glaring "Bravo Blood Bath! Entire Cast Of 'RHONY' To Get The Axe, Except For One Housewife - Guess Who!" headline, none of the cast members - Sonja Morgan, Heather Thomas, Luann de Lesseps, and Carole Radzwil, Ramona Singer and Aviva Drescher have actually been confirmed fired. Gossip Cop checked with an impeccable who said, "It's not true... No decisions about the cast have been made or will be made unit after Season 6 ends."

The Real Housewives of New York City just finished airing the final episode of Season 6 on August 12. Reality Tea described the farewell episode of the season as, "the tail-end of the reunion, the drama was lackluster as all the mini-feuds were unscabbed and reargued part deux." It was the third of a three part reunion segment and it garnered 1.305 million viewers. The Real Housewives of New York City managed to average 1.291 million viewers for the entire Season 6. As of August 12, 2014, a total of 104 original episodes of The Real Housewives of New York City have aired over six seasons starting March 4, 2008, when it first aired on Bravo.
