Winds Of winter Release Date, Tyrion Chapter News, Spoilers, Predictions, Rumors And Reports: Will George R.R. Martin Be Writing About Tyrion Lannister's Death In The Upcoming Novel
We have the latest for you on the release date, Tyrion chapter news, spoilers, predictions, rumors and reports of Winds of Winter. Although the release date of the long awaited 'Winds of Winter' has not yet been revealed, the fans of the book series cannot help but worry about the death of one of their favorite characters in the film. According to reports, Martin will be writing about Tyrion Lannister's death in the upcoming novel.
For those who loved the HBO series 'Game of Thrones' and the two books from 'A Song of Ice and Fire' adores Tyrion's character, played by Peter Dinklage, in the TV adaptation. Killing him on both sides will hurt and disappoint the entire fan base. Knowing Martin's writing style, no one can be spared from death if the plot leads him there. For those who are not well familiar with the books and the TV series, the author has killed several fan-favorite main characters for example Caitlyn, Rob Stark and Ned.
However, rumors say that Tyrion's death is not yet verified after the author revealed that Tyrion was his favorite character among the Lannister family, which may save the character from being 'killed.' During an interview with Hollywood Life, Martin said, "I love all my characters of course but Tyrion has always been my favorite. He is the easiest to write...The only thing that is hard is that it takes me days and sometimes weeks to come up with the one-liners that Tyrion comes up with in, like, a minute. I wish in real life I was nearly as acerbic and funny as Tyrion." The author however, evaded the question whether he would 'kill' the character by saying, "Well, I did cut of his nose, so..."
He also said, "They say that you write what you want to read and you create what you want to watch. I love shows that are unpredictable. I like shows to be more real. Predictable shows and books bore me. I want to be in the edge of my seat. So the deaths are important and at all times necessary."
The release date has not yet been announced but there are speculations that the book will come out next year, while others say that it will be released in April 2015.
