Final Fantasy XV Release Date, PC News, Reports And Announcements: Final Fantasy XV To Be The First Installment Of The Game Which Is An Action Based RPG
We have the latest for you on the release date, PC news, reports and announcements of Final Fantasy XV. The makers of the Final Fantasy franchise, Square Enix, had announced the release of the Final Fantasy XIII in 2006. During the 2013 Electronic Entertainment Expo of the company however, the company changed the name from Final Fantasy XIII to Final Fantasy XV. The release date of the newly announced title was scheduled around March 2015.
Square Enix also announced that their focus was in developing the Kingdom Hearts 2.5 remake. The HD remake of the game has been set to be released in 2014. The company also said that alongside Final Fantasy XV, they were developing a third title of the Kingdom Hearts franchise. Tai Yasue, the co-creator of the Kingdom Hearts game, ensured that the development of Kingdom Hearts 2.5 would not be a hindrance of the development of either the next Kingdom Hearts title or the next Final Fantasy title.
Yasue talked to GameInformer and said, "We've been working full throttle. It's moving along. We structure our team in a way that the development of 2.5 does not impede Kingdom Hearts III. I'm actually very excited about Kingdom Hearts III." Originally, the Final Fantasy title was set to be released during the 2014 holiday season but the company decided to push it further till early 2015. The company thinks that the fans were not impressed by the previous Final Fantasy title and they are hoping to remedy that with Final Fantasy XV.
On 18th September, the company is planning to announce several updates and commence promotions for the game at the Tokyo Game Show 2014. The company is also planning to introduce new game and story trailers together with the updates. A square Enix producer said that the fans could learn more about the game at different conventions later in the year. He also said that Final Fantasy XV will be the first installment of the game which is an action based RPG. The game will be ported to the Xbox One and PS4 consoles. According to a report by Daniel Sims, a freelance writer, Square Enix will not produce a PC version of the game.
A lot has been said about the game but we have no option but to wait until the game is released and see whether it will be appealing to the fans. You can count on us to keep you updated on any new news about Final Fantasy XV.
