Mortal Kombat X Release Date, Characters And Gameplay Updates: A Lost Fatality To Make A Comeback In The Upcoming Mortal Kombat X
We have the latest for you on the release date, characters and gameplay of Mortal Kombat X. During the recent Gamescom in Cologne, Germany, the Mortal Kombat X co-creator, Ed Boon revealed that the gamers will see the return of a lost fatality in the upcoming Mortal Kombat X. the 50-year old director was engaged in an interview by IGN and he said, "For those who are familiar with Mortal Kombat, we first has the Fatality and we added a Babality. We had the Friendship moves, Brutality moves and all of these crazy things over the years. We are going to be reinstating an 'Ality' from a previous game into Mortal Kombat X. And I can't wait to be able to talk about it but at the moment I can't."
Mortal Kombat Game series has been famous for quite a long time for various violent finishing moves like Brutality which shows the winning character making lengthy combo hits to smash his opponents into pieces. There are also cases of animality where the winner transforms into an animal and destroys the enemy. The game also featured some 'non-violent finishing moves' for example Babality as mentioned by Ed Boon. This one turns the opponents into babies, while there is a lot of comical friendship moves.
The NetherRealm Studio also talked about the character variation fighting system which gives the players three different unique styles to either explore or master. In a trailer released recently, Kano was shown with the three different fighting styles. One is the Cutthroat variation where the character pounds his heart to power up his attacks. Another one is the Cybernetic variation. It allows Kano to make use of his arsenal of eye lasers and grenade attacks which will enable him to make deadly attacks from a distance. Lastly, the commando Kano variation enhances the gripping skills of the character putting his enemies at a great disadvantage when in close range.
Mortal Kombat X has been scheduled for release in 2015 for PS4, Xbox One, PS3, Xbox 360 and Windows PC. There have been many improvements in the game and we can only wait for the release and see how it goes. We will keep you in the loop on any more information about the game.
