The upcoming Tomorrowland movie has built up an entire air of mystery on its own. The movie, which was originally scheduled have a Tomorrowland movie release date supposedly on December 19, 2014, was met with rampant speculations and expectations on what it is going to be about, especially when it was given the name 1952 for its working title at the time of announcement. Amidst all the speculations however - from UFOs to Star Wars Episode VII - the truth has finally been revealed.

The Tomorrowland movie plot involves "a teenage girl, a genius middle - aged man (who was kicked out of Tomorrowland) and a pre - pubescent girl robot" in a sci - fi adventure as they attempt to get to a place called Tomorrowland - which exists in an alternative universe - and finally delve into the mystery of what happened to it as well as save Earth along the process.

Tomorrowland movie 2015 was revealed to be directed by Brad Bird and which was also co - written by him and Damon Lindelof. Sources also tell us that the upcoming sci - fi mystery adventure film will star George Clooney, Hugh Laurie, Britt Robertson, Raffey Cassidy, Thomas Robinson, Kathryn Hahn, Tim McGraw, Keegan - Michael Key and Judy Greer.

So far, there has been no Tomorrowland movie trailer released yet. Perhaps until then fans may still freely speculate and draw their expectations from what limited knowledge we have. The Tomorrowland movie release date is now scheduled on May 22, 2015.
