iPhone 6 Release Date, News, and Updates: TMZ has Leaked New Photos of the iPhone 6
On Friday, TMZ were able to obtain alleged photos of Apple's upcoming iPhone 6.
According to TMZ the photos were obtained by the owner through a former employee of a Foxconn factory in China, where most of iPhone models are manufactured. The former employee allegedly smuggled this iPhone 6 out of the factory. The phone itself is not running Apple's iOS which is SOP during the development stage for security purposes. The new iPhone is said to be considerably lighter, and in the front a new sensor has been installed, though it is yet unclear for what reason and purpose, reported TMZ.
There have been numerous alleged 'leaks' of the new iPhone 6, but this is the clearest and most authentic-looking leak to have surfaced. Even if this is truly the new iPhone 6, this might not be the final look of the phone for it is as of yet still unannounced by Apple.
The iPhone 6 is said to feature the new iOS 8, an improved Siri, a new touch screen display, improved camera, a new A8 processor, and the fingerprint scanner Touch ID will make its return from the iPhone 5S.
The iPhone 6 is slated to be officially announced this coming September, and will be available the same month in about 150 countries.
