We have the latest for you on the release date, specs, rumors and features of the Moto X+1. There is some good news for the lovers of the Motorola smartphones. It has been finally confirmed that the Moto X+1 will be released on 25^th September with the Verizon Wireless, as per reports by Verizon.

During an interview with iDigitalTimes.com, an insider said, "Sources of ours have confirmed to us that Verizon is currently expecting the new Moto X+1 by September 25." According to a Droid Life report, the very much awaited Motorola smartphone will be released along the Moto 360 smartwatch. The smartphone could arrive sooner on other carriers before Verizon releases it, though the unveiling dates will not be different at all.

The new Moto X+1, as has been leaked, will arrive with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 clocked at 2.45 GHz, which means that the device's capacity will have to compete with other flagships like the Oneplus One, HTC One M8, Samsung Galaxy S5 and LG G3. The smartphone features a 5.1-inch display in 1080p, 2GB of RAM and 32GB internal memory. The device will also feature a 12MP rear camera, a 5MP front camera and a 2900mAh li-on battery. The smartphone runs with the Android KitKat 4.4.4.

Although the Moto X+1 predecessor, Moto X, had very good features, like the refined voice activation and touchless controls, the soon-to-come device will also make a name for itself as it has great features too, like the above mentioned features. Surprisingly, Motorola has remained silent on the release date of their next smartphone. They are also yet to make any announcements concerning their latest handset.

It has been reported that Motorola plans to expand the availability of the existing smartphone line-up in Europe and Mexico. The company is also planning to have Android as its primary operating system. The new Motorola smartwatch is much waited for, and it had been earlier announced that it would be released in August, but there are rumors that it will be released along the Moto X+1 smartphone. A lot is expected of the two expected releases from Motorola, but we only have to wait till they are released and see how they pull through.
