Vampire Diaries Season 6 Premiere Date, Spoilers, Cast, Episode Information And Trailer News: Could Season 6 Of The Vampire Diaries Feature A Kindling Of Romance Between Bonnie And Damon
We have the latest for you on the premiere date, spoilers, cast, episode information and trailer news of the Vampire Diaries. The "Vampire Diaries" season 6 will be filled with shocking twists and turns in the storyline. It will also include a foil which will appear throughout the upcoming season 6.
In an interview with E! News, the TVD executive producer, Julie Plec talked about the upcoming season and said, " There is a big bad, it's a long, slow-burn mythology which will unfold over the course of the entire season and will really impact each of our characters in deep ways and it's smart and interesting and it's small, which I like." She went ahead to say, "Instead of trying to top ourselves year to year, we try to scale back and see if we can keep it really personal and rooted in the character."
She also dropped some hints about Bonnie and Damon, who died in the epic finale of season 5. TV Guide reports that Bonnie and Damon are going to be trapped in a mysterious location which will not be disclosed until the 2nd episode of the upcoming season. TV Guide says, "Although the setting may look familiar, the duo is definitely in a place that is foreign to them." It is speculated that the two could actually end up getting really close to one another and even be closer than friends.
The executive producer of TVD does not confirm or deny about the rumored love-hate relationship which could blossom into a romance, but she did tease that the two, Ian Somerhalder and Kat Graham would translate their off-screen relationship to a great relationship on camera. The trailer for season 6 of the Vampire Diaries is already online and gives the fans a sneak peek into what they should expect in the coming season.
According to MoviePilot.com, Plec Said, "You never know, but what we did want to do is we wanted to service the Bamon relationship from the books and at least give those two characters an opportunity-that we never thought we'd have frankly cause they never liked each other, and for no good reason-to bond and get close and to be comrades. So it will start there, and it may never go any further-that's not the plan but you never know."
The 6th season of Vampire Diaries is expected to return on CW on 2nd October this year.
