The Sony Xperia Z1 Review Specs and Features, Tell All: Bigger and Better than the Xperia Z on Every Level
The Sony Xperia Z1 looks like the bigger and flashier looking brother for the first version which is the Xperia Z. As such it brings along a more stable chassis along with a faster processor and camera. On the exterior, it feels a bit large and wide but it manages to balance quite well within one's grasp. The idea of Sony to put the power button on the side of the phone just a little above the middle makes it all the more user friendly because this is one of the first places one reaches for on a phone of this size. The Sony Xperia z1 also features a full glass exterior along with a smooth and a button less front with the device. The designers from Sony ensured the plastic sides were increased by at least a fraction of a millimeter over the glassy rear of the phone.
This is good because it acts as a shock absorber, even if the phone is gently tossed on to a hard surface the Sony Xperia Z1 comes available with HD 1920 x 1080 resolution, which also happens to be found within the smaller version which is the Xperia Z. the internal Ram is 2GB and as for the processor unit, there is a very powerful and quite capable Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 quad-core 2.2GHz Krait 400 which is an upgrade from that of its smaller sibling.
As such, it is now eligible for the Android 4.4.3 and 4.4.4 KitKat updates which would come in handy especially because of the lack of a flash with the very high quality camera. This makes for indoor photos that do not look so good even with a 20.7 megapixel camera. The phone is also available to IP standards when considering dust as well as water resistance meaning that it will be quite impervious to all sorts of pocket fluff. There is a down side with the phone and it is because of the manufacturer's in built apps, for example, there are extra features as well as services which require the client to sign up for items as well as user agreements and disclaimers and this can be quite tedious especially when you have to keep uploading credit for the music unlimited service.
