There are more rumors going around that the iPhone 6 will run the latest iOS 8. This operating system could also be found in future MacBook or iPads. There is also a likelihood of chip upgrade from iPhone 5's A7 chip to a more powerful A8 chip.

To meet the power demand of a bigger screen display, Apple will also have to increase the battery power. The spec rumor revolving around the iPhone 6 is that it has a more powerful 2,100mAh battery. With this, there is a 45% increase from iPhone 5's battery. Apple is set to release the new iPhone 6 this coming September 9 during a media event. Other rumored features of the iPhone 6 are 64-bit A8 processor, iOS 8 as well as improved fingerprint sensor and camera.

It is reported by Wall Street Journal that Apple will sell 70 to 80 million units of the iPhone 6 upon its release. The report added that the company ordered the said number of units for the launch of the handset.
